Aetna Coverage of Conformis Implants

If you want a Conformis implant and Aetna has denied coverage, then we would like your help to convince Aetna to change its policy.

From February 3, 2011 through September 21, 2018, Aetna covered our implants for good reason.  Our implants have been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and are widely accepted by doctors and insurance plans alike.  In January 2020, we announced the milestone of 100,000 knee joint replacement implants.  And we have data from more than 20 clinical studies (all of which have been published in peer-reviewed medical journals) that support the performance of our implants.

We think that Aetna made a mistake and its patients should not have to choose “off-the-shelf” alternatives that, unlike Conformis implants, are not designed for each patient’s unique anatomy.  If you are one of these patients and want to help us convince Aetna to change its policy, please fill in the form below.
