Dr. Greenleaf is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and pediatric orthopedics. Although he treats a wide variety of orthopaedic patients, he is especially skilled in arthroscopic treatment of knees and shoulders. He is a master instructor in both shoulder and knee surgery.
Currently he is a team physician for the Portland Timbers professional soccer team and orthopaedic consultant for the Portland Thorns. He is the Medical Director for the upcoming 2016 US Track & Field indoor championships and 2016 world championships. He is also team physician for the US Olympic Track & Field trials. Some of Dr. Greenleaf’s current research includes the use of biologic injections in tissue healing, as well as a national study investigating minimally invasive cartilage restoration surgeries.
Besides maintaining his practice, Dr. Greenleaf also provides orthopaedic support at the Nike Sports Medicine clinic and local high schools. He and his wife Lisa have three children. In his leisure time he enjoys fly fishing, mountain biking and rock climbing.
